Halyk Bank Kyrgyzstan Joins International Investment Group Visor

Halyk Bank Kyrgyzstan OJSC is now a part of the international investment group Visor International DMCC. The deal approved by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic was closed on April 18, 2024. Managed by the new owner, the Bank will present innovative financial solutions both for individual and business customers, and offer easy-to-use, tech-savvy and safe products. Halyk Bank Kyrgyzstan has for 20 years been maintaining solid and stable presence in the Kyrgyz Republic. Joining the Visor international investment group will be the Bank’s new stage of development and digital transformation.

Here are the Bank’s main achievements over the last years:

• recognized as the Kyrgyzstan’s best bank in March 2024 according to the Global Finance publication;
• its online banking for business was one of the top 3 in 2023 according to the SME Banking Agency, and the Halyk mobile app was recognized as the most innovative one in Kyrgyzstan in 2022 according to Global Banking and Finance Review;
• the first to introduce the Sustainable Development Policy with advanced ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) practices.
