Periods of online loan issue changed

O!Bank has changed the cooling period for online loans as required by NBKR.

The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has adopted a decree aimed at strengthening confidence in the banking system and protecting customers in the context of the growth of digital financial services.

As part of this decree, the concept of “cooling period” was introduced for online loan applications.

It means that:

· the online loan will be credited in some time following the process completion.

New periods apply to online loan crediting starting on March 29, 2025:

· 4 hours for 50,001 to 100,000 KGS;

· 12 hours for over 100,001 KGS.

Control call will be made to verify the customer consent for loans over 100,000 KGS.
