FAQ

Will the bank take my phone until the loan is repaid?

No, your smartphone stays with you. The collateral serves as legal security for the loan, not confiscation of the device. Only the smartphone model and IMEI number are specified in the agreement.

How is a smartphone-secured loan different from a standard Express Online loan?

A smartphone-secured loan offers a reduced rate of 24.99% per annum (19% for payroll project participants), while the standard Express Online loan has different terms. Your device stays with you, and only its model and IMEI number are recorded in the agreement.

How does the bank obtain my device's IMEI number?

When applying, you consent to share your IMEI data through your mobile operator. The data is transmitted automatically — there is no need to enter the IMEI manually.

Can I sell or replace my smartphone before the loan is fully repaid?

While the collateral agreement is active, the device should remain in your possession. Please contact O!Bank before selling or replacing your smartphone to clarify the terms.

What happens if my phone is damaged or lost?

Your loan obligations remain in effect regardless of the condition of the device. If your phone is damaged or lost, we recommend contacting O!Bank as soon as possible for guidance on next steps.

Why am I not seeing the 24.99% collateralized loan offer?

The offer is displayed automatically if you are an O! mobile operator subscriber and your smartphone has passed verification against the list of supported devices. If these conditions are not met, the collateralized offer will not appear.

My IMEI was identified incorrectly. What should I do?

If your IMEI information is displayed incorrectly, please contact any O!Bank branch or the support team in the My O! app to verify and correct the data.
