How to protect your data and money

Recently, there has been an increase in cases of phone and cyber fraud. Scammers are constantly coming up with new schemes to gain access to your accounts.


How do scammers operate?
- They call pretending to be employees of a bank or government agency.
- They claim that there is a problem with your account or that your personal data may have been stolen.
- They ask for personal and banking information, such as your password, PIN, card number, and other details.
- They ask you to follow a link or install an unknown application.
 
How can you protect yourself?
- If you receive a call from an unknown number and the caller claims that your data has been stolen, end the call.
- Never share your card details or codes from SMS or push notifications, even with bank employees.
- Do not answer video calls from unknown numbers, follow unfamiliar links, or install unverified applications.
 
What should you do if you encounter fraud?
• Contact the bank at 9999 to block your card or account.
• Report the incident to law enforcement authorities.
