Receive money transfers from Russia

Astrasend is an international money transfer service that allows you to send money from Russia in Russian rubles and receive it in Kyrgyzstan in Kyrgyz soms. At O!Bank, you can receive Astrasend transfers online through the My O! app or in person at any O!Bank branch or O!Store. Transfers are credited instantly, and no fee is charged for receiving the transfer.

You can receive an Astrasend transfer in two ways:

• online — through the My O! app: go to Payments → Astrasend. The service is available 24/7, so there is no need to visit a branch;
• in person — at any O!Bank branch or O!Store. You will need your passport, phone number, and the transfer control number.

The process is the same regardless of which Russian bank the money is sent from. The sender makes the transfer through Astrasend and gives you the transfer control number. In the My O! app, go to Payments → Receive Astrasend, enter the control number, select the wallet, card, or O!Bank account you want to receive the money into, and confirm the transaction.

There is no fee for receiving an Astrasend transfer at O!Bank. You can also withdraw cash from an O!Bank card at any O!Bank ATM free of charge.

The transfer is sent in Russian rubles and credited in Kyrgyz soms using O!Bank’s commercial exchange rate, which is published on the bank’s website and in the My O! app. The exchange rate is locked in when you confirm the transaction. Before the conversion, the system shows the exact amount that will be credited to you. This amount will not change after you confirm the transaction.

The limit applies to each individual transaction and depends on your identity verification level:

• online verification — up to 30,000 KGS per transaction;
• full identity verification — up to 300,000 KGS per transaction.

The limit is the same regardless of whether the money is credited to your O!Bank wallet, card, or account.

You need to complete identity verification with your passport at any O!Bank branch or O!Store. Once you complete identity verification, your transaction limit will increase from 30,000 to 300,000 KGS, allowing you to receive the transfer.

No. You do not need to open an account. You can receive the transfer directly into your wallet through the My O! app. You can also receive the money on an O!Bank card or into an O!Bank account. The transaction limit is the same in all cases.

First, make sure that:

• you have entered the full transfer control number correctly;
• your passport details are correct;
• the sender entered your full name correctly, exactly as it appears in your identification records;
• the My O! app is updated to the latest version.
